Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Release Date

Samsung has announced that it will hold an unpacked event on August 5, 2020 at 10 a.m. ET/ 7 a.m. PT. On the same August 5 event, Samsung could also release several other products. The products includes Galaxy Tab S7 tablet and 5G version of Galaxy Z flip.

Even though Note 20 may debut on August 5, there is still no news on when it will ship. However, there are also rumors that Samsung Galaxy Note 20 may release on August 21.

A Korean news site ETNews backs the notion that Galaxy Note 20 will arrive in August. Which will be followed by the release of Galaxy Fold 2 in September and Galaxy S20 fan edition in October. In addition to that, in a subsequent report, ETNews said that the Galaxy Note 20 will ship on August 21.

Galaxy Note 20 Price

The Galaxy Note 10 currently starts at $949, and Galaxy Note 10 plus at $1099. Also, Note 10 plus 5G costs $1299. Similarly, Samsung’s just launched Galaxy S20 pricing starts at $999. Furthermore, Galaxy S20 plus pricing starts $1,199 and Galaxy S20 ultra at $1,399. In conclusion, don’t expect the price of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 to be less than $1000.

One of the leaks claims that the Galaxy Note 20 could be much more expensive than its predecessors.

Galaxy Note 20 Other News and Leaks

It is said that the design of the Note 20 looks similar to Galaxy S20. However there is a room for an S Pen holster for Samsung’s styles in Note 20.

Another leaked Note 20 render- a CAD design apparently built for phone case makers shows off a rather prominent and boxy camera array on the back of phone. Apart from that, another rumor suggests that Samsung will fit a sub-display front-facing camera behind the Note 20’s screen which will disappear when not in use.

As per Note 20 display, it’s rumored that the screen is made to power consumption and emit less blue light.

What we expect from Samsung Galaxy Note 20

As we already know a lot about the Note 20 even before it has arrived, here are few boxes we hope Samsung ticks.

5G across the board: We know that Samsung Galaxy S20 series supported 5G connectivity on every model. Although, the standard S20 initially lacked support for Verizon’s mmWave-based 5G network. So, from every Note 20 we are expecting to feature 5G connectivity and hope that goes for every 5G network in US.

Better Battery life: During the battery test, Note 20 lasted around 9 hours and 25 minutes. Hence, a longer-lasting Note 20 could be more ideal for those looking to get work done on and go.

Improved DeX mode: The Note 10’s DeX mode allows to use phone’s apps and files on your PC’s big screen. But, there can be some improvements. It was found that DeX mode was laggy on Samsung’s most recent phablet, and there are some limitations while transferring files between your computer and phone. If DeX mode was made more smoother and strong, then it could be a true productivity powerhouse. Also, it could be able to replace your laptop and tablet.

These are all the information you need to know about Samsung Galaxy Note 20. Now all you have to do is wait for it’s release and finally you can have your hand on it.
