Thinking about How To Play YouTube In The Background Using VLC. Well, YouTube is one of the highest streaming platforms and the most used app since the last decade. It is the top-grossing internet-based channel that allows you to watch any videos where and whenever you want. After Google, it is the second most used search engine.
There are plenty of options for people such as listening to music, watching live performances, movies, cooking essentials, sports, learning tutorials and so on. Once you’ve created an account you can even subscribe to the channel you most prefer to watch.

Open YouTube and select any video
You’ll find a three-dotted share link option. Tap on it.
Choose ‘Play in VLC option
The YouTube video then loads in VLC
On the right corner, you’ll see a three-dotted menu option with a list
One option from the list is to ‘Play as Audio’. Click on it.
You can now access to play the audio from different videos you play on YouTube. You can minimize and simply lock the screen to avoid any tapping on the screen. If you want the video back, the play button is on the top left corner.
Similarly, you can also add different music of your choice and create a playlist in it. Although, make sure you do not tap on the back button as the video will instantly go and may have to re-add it again.
